T’ai Chi with Alyse Knepple 
Mondays at 11am – Mason/Union Branch 
Join Alyse Knepple at the Mason/Union Branch for T’ai Chi. T’ai Chi is a series of gentle physical exercises and stretches. Alyse will offer a free introductory class, followed by four weekly classes which will cost $40.00.

Little Explorers 
Mondays at 11am -Edwardsburg Branch 
Bring your little ones to our Little Explorer’s program to discover, learn, and play! This early education program is designed for preschool-aged children and their caring adult. Enjoy a new story and sensory activity each week, both programs at Mason/Union and Edwardsburg will be repeated for the week. No registration required, free to attend.

Big Machines Day

Big machines are coming to a branch near you! Explore these awesome machines and ask questions to the heroes who get to use them. See the Porter Township Fire Department firetruck up close, Southeast Public Safety Authority has an ambulance to explore, be sure to come so you can see, touch and hear so much more!

Tea Tasting with Apothica Teas – Registration Required

Have you ever wanted to learn about loose-leaf tea, but you weren’t sure where to start? Get ready to experience and taste tea from Apothica Teas of Niles, proprietor Laura Hollister! Adult Craft Club: DIY Custom Marshmallow Roasting Sticks – Registration Required 
July 10: 1:00pm – 2:00pm – Main Branch 
Join us each month for a new craft project at the Main Branch. Spruce up your campsite with these adorable marshmallow roasting sticks. Use craft materials to make your marshmallow stick unique to you! All supplies will be provided. Light it Up! – Registration Required 
July 10: 2:30pm- 3:30pm – Edwardsburg Branch 
Get creative with this hands-on STEAM program! Participants will use an LED light, button cell battery, and other materials to create their custom art piece that lights up. This program is intended for ages 9-12, space is limited. Registration is required, please call 269-487-9215 to register.

Cookies and Canvas – Registration Required

Savage Readers Book Club

Repco Wildlife Encounter

It’s getting wild at the library! All are welcome for a fun and interactive program with LIVE ANIMALS. Experience and encounter these amazing animals up close and learn about their habitats, importance and uniqueness. Come and see for yourself!

Bingo Night Fundraiser

The Mason/Union Friends of the Library invite you to a fun night of bingo and prizes at the Mason/Union Branch! Tickets sold for $6.00 per card at the door.

Love Creek Nature Center: Amazing Mammals 
July 18: 1:00pm – 2:00pm – Edwardsburg Branch 
Love Creek Nature Center will showcase in their Amazing Mammals program a range of furs, and stuffed specimens for families to observe and interact with. Learn all about foxes, coyotes, skunks, raccoons,  squirrels, bats, opossums, badgers and so much more! Families will have the opportunity to explore a diverse selection of mammals native to Berrien County. By engaging in hands-on activities, they will discover the various adaptations and habitats that make each mammal a distinct and vital component of the ecosystem. This is a program you will not want to miss!

Summer Reading Finale Party

As the summer reading program winds down, it’s time to celebrate all the hard work and memories made. Join us at the Main Branch for an unforgettable bash! Gather on the lawn for snacks and exciting activities suitable for all ages! This event promises to be the perfect finale to a wonderful summer reading program.

Main Branch Annual Book Sale 
July 31 – August 2: 9:00am – 5:00pm – Main Branch 
The Main Branch is having its annual book sale! Be sure to stop by to find new and gently used books, there is something for everyone! All books are priced at $0.25 and media is priced at $0.50. August 2nd is $1.00 Bag Day- bags will be provided.
