First Fridays Return to Downtown Marcellus in 2022

February 1, 2022 By Marcellus News Leave a Comment

Back by popular demand are First Fridays in downtown Marcellus. Committee members met recently to finalize the 2022 calendar. New this year are a fifth First Friday, monthly themes and expanded activities.

Each event will be held between 5:00 and 8:00pm in Marcellus on the following dates:

Friday, June 3: Graduation Block Party

Friday, July 1: Happy Birthday, USA!

Friday, August 5: Dog Days

Friday, September 2: Make Memories

Friday, October 7: Fall Fest

In addition to featured business specials, potential activities include a cake bake contest, kids’ pet parade, family photos, book sale, shredding truck, the popular Artisan Market, food trucks, music, and much more.

The Committee is hoping to provide shuttle service between downtown Marcellus and the VFW on Friday, July 1. Anyone willing to volunteer time and transportation – think tractors, hay wagons, carriages, etc. – to help with the shuttle service is asked to contact The Marcellus News at editor@marcellusnews.com or 269.646.2101.

For more information about the event, please contact Chris or Patty at the Marcellus Township Wood Memorial Library or email marcellusfirstfriday@gmail.com.
