Mary K. Baird passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at the age of 68. She was born in Kalamazoo, MI on February 27, 1953, the daughter of the late William and Marian (Price) Collum. Mary enjoyed quilting, crocheting, coloring, and was a very talented floral arranger. She crafted many flowers for family weddings and made ornaments every year for Christmas. She never missed an episode of Walker Texas Ranger and could fry any kind of food. She was witty and kind. Mary loved her grandchildren above all and will be deeply missed by those who love her.
She is survived by her children, Lisa (Jameson) Boyle, Heather (Mike Reger) Bornson, Robert (Jessica Franks) Esman, and Felicia (Bruce) Hotchkiss; 7 grandchildren, Sabrina, Danielle, Josie, Randy, John, Paige, Jacob and Jessica; a great-grandchild to be, Daisy; siblings, Carol (Jack) Havenaar, Brenda (Steve) Blasingame, Robin (Phil) Affhalter, and Scott Collum. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Martha Stecker; brother, James Collum; and husband, Walter Baird.
A memorial will take place Saturday, March 12, 2pm, at the Marcellus VFW where Mary was a member for many years.
