Election Commission Meeting July 10, 2024
Supervisor Oxley called the meeting to order at 6:45 pm. Members present, Oxley, Nesbitt, and Smith
Motion by Nesbitt with support by Oxley to approve Clerk Smith’s recommendation for Election Inspectors for the August 6, 2024, Primary Election. Voice vote – all yes. Motion passed.

Motion by Nesbitt with support by Oxley to schedule the Public Accuracy Test for Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 6:00 pm. Voice vote – all yes – Motion passed.
Supervisor Oxley closed the Election Commission meeting at 6:53 pm.
Regular Meeting: July 10, 2024
Supervisor Oxley called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Members present – Oxley, Bitely, Nesbitt, Packer, and Smith. Also present – Attorney Moraitis and eight guests.
Motion by Packer with support by Nesbitt to approve the minutes of the regular meeting on June 12, 2024. Voice vote – all yes. Motion passed.
Motion by Bitely with support by Packer to approve the Treasurer’s report subject to audit. Voice vote – all yes. Motion passed.
Motion by Packer with support by Bitely to approve the bills as presented. Roll call vote – all yes. Motion passed.
Motion by Packer with support by Nesbitt to approve use of Michigan Township Associations most up to date FOIA forms, pending attorney review. Voice vote – all yes. Motion passed.
Motion by Smith with support by Bitely to accept the Truth in Taxation Reduction for 2024. Roll call vote – all yes. Motion passed.
Motion by Bitely with support by Packer to adopt a resolution in support of the county-wide road millage renewal/ballot proposal. Voice vote – all yes. Motion passed.
Motion by Bitely with support by Packer to adjourn the meeting at 8:10 pm. Voice vote – all yes. Motion passed.
