NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Public Accuracy Test for the
November 4, 2025 Election, is scheduled for Monday, October 27, 2025, at 5:00pm,
at the Marcellus Township Hall
463 W. Main St., Marcellus, Michigan.
The Public Accuracy Test is conducted to demonstrate that the program and computer used to tabulate the results of the election have been
prepared in accordance with the law (MCL 168-798).

The Marcellus Election Commission will meet at 5:45pm on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 463 W. Main St Marcellus Township Hall, to appoint election inspectors for the November 4, 2025 Election, and to discuss any other matters relation to that election.

Burlington 25 LLC has made an application to Marcellus Township to transfer an existing license for a Marihuana Establishment located at 51906 Burlington Road, Marcellus, in Marcellus Township. The parcel is described as SEC 8 T5S R13W S 1/2 SE 1/4. 80 A. Also known as 51906 Burlington Road.
Burlington 25 LLC is making application for the following licenses:
Cultivation
A hearing will be held October 23, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the Marcellus Township Hall, 463 W Main Street, Marcellus, Michigan.
This hearing is to review the application and hear any concerns. Properties within 300’ will be notified by First Class Mail.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Public Accuracy Test for the
November 4, 2025 Special Election has been scheduled for Thursday, October
30, 2025, at 6:00 pm
at the Porter Township Hall
88040 M-40 Hwy, Lawton, Michigan
The Public Accuracy Test is conducted to demonstrate that the computer programming used to tabulate the votes cast at the election meets the requirements of Michigan election law.
The Township will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services to those with disabilities planning to attend upon adequate notice to Heather Smith, Porter Township Clerk, in writing, or by calling the Township at (269) 624-4022 x-4.

Village of Marcellus 2025 FALL BULK ITEM CLEAN UP
Marcellus Residents will once again have the opportunity to participate in the FALL BULK ITEM CLEAN UP.
Large dumpsters will be available to dispose of 1-2 bulk items on Saturday, October 18th from 9:00AM until 1:00 PM at 53550 Hemlock Lake Rd.
A Village employee will be on hand to direct you where to go but they will not be able to help unload your items. This is open to all village residents and you must show proof that you live in the Village of Marcellus.
ACCEPTABLE ITEMS: Couches, Chairs/Recliners, Dressers, End/Coffee Tables, Box Spring/Mattresses, Carpet/Padding (3 foot rolls), Vacuum Cleaners, Stoves, Washers, Microwaves, Entertainment Centers and Bed Frames.
PROHIBITED ITEMS: Tires, Propane Tanks, Freezers/Refrigerators, Air Conditioners, Dehumidifiers, Hot Water Tanks, Paints/Thinners/Oils, Car Batteries, Pesticides/Solvents, Dirt/Concrete/Bricks, TVs/Computers/Game Systems, Hazardous Materials.
Hydrant Flushing
The Village of Marcellus will be flushing fire hydrants between 10/13/2025, and 10/17/2025. While the water is safe for consumption and bathing, residents may experience water that is discolored, “brown/rusty” and may wish to cease running laundry machines or automatic icemakers during this process.
If you experience discoloration, run cold water for several minutes to clear your water lines.
