REQUEST FOR THIRD PARTY ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW CONSULTING FOR CDBG CHILL GRANT: VILLAGE OF MARCELLUS
The Village of Marcellus is accepting proposals for Third Party Environmental Review Consulting services for a proposed Community Development Block Grant CHILL Grant (CDBG Housing Initiatives Local Livability), funded by the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA).
The Village of Marcellus has made an application for $483,000 for homeowner rehab, and will award a fixed-sum contract subject to approval by the Village of Marcellus Council and funding from MSHDA. The grant period will run from April 2024 to October 2025.

Those interested in applying should have knowledge of the CDBG and homeowner rehab environmental review process and be ready to begin work immediately.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist UGLG in assessing sites, complying with federal and state statutes, regulations, and policies, providing documentation to CDBG Program Specialist, and all other related environmental review activities

Resumes and proposals may be dropped off at the Village Hall at 177 E. Main Street, Marcellus, MI 49067 between 8:30-12:00pm, and 1:00-4:00pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday or from 8:30 am to 12pm on Wednesday.
Proposals are due by Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 4:40pm.
The Village of Marcellus reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals. The responsible Third Party Environmental Review Consultant whose proposal will be the most advantageous to the Village will be selected.
