Rodney Jerome Yeomans, age 64, passed away at his home in Three Rivers, Michigan, after a determined fight against cancer and heart disease.
An avid outdoorsman all his life, Rodney could be found hunting, fishing, or mushroom hunting. He grew up working with his hands and could fix most anything he put his mind to and could be called upon to help friends and family alike. He lived life everyday as he wished – unconventionally unique and true to himself.
He is survived by his father, Hank Yeomans, and his sister, Vicki (Yeomans) Cooper, several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ed, and his mom, Nancy. He will be sorely missed by all of us, but especially his faithful companion, Ladybug, who is still alert, waiting for Rodney’s footsteps and the door to open.
There will be a Celebration of Life service for Rodney at the Marcellus VFW on Sunday, July 10, 2022, from 1:00pm until 3:00pm. Contributions can be made in honor of Rodney to the Marcellus VFW or a charity of your choice.
