2022 Homecoming Highlights
Basketball Homecoming 2022 is in the books. The week was filled with memory- making events, including the crowning of queen and princess, and the announcement of Mr. and Ms. Basketball. Marcellus High School’s Student Council and the Athletic Department did a great job planning and hosting the traditional dress-up days, pep rally, class competitions, and the high school Homecoming Dance. Thanks to all who came out in support of the Marcellus Wildcats!
Congratulations to Marcellus Homecoming Queen Jenna Wells, Princess Kylie Kozik, Mr. Basketball Wyatt Haas, and Ms. Basketball Emma Holmes!

The first section of the after school Cooking Club finished up last week. Over the last several weeks, under the direction of Food Service Director Kyle Dumkow, the participants enjoyed creating tasty meals and desserts. Among the group’s culinary creations were chocolate chip cookies, brownies, spaghetti and meatballs, french toast with sausage and eggs, and scratch pizza. They also enjoyed baking and decorating cupcakes from scratch. The group chose to finish up their sessions with a cook-out themed, cheeseburger finale. The second round of after school cooking club started this week and will run through March 9.
