All Five Proposals on February 26 Ballots Pass

Although there was only one county-wide ballot on the February 26, 2024, Presidential Primary ballot, all five within the county were approved by voters.

   County wide, the Cass County Transportation Authority Millage proposal passed by a mere 16 votes, 4,422 to 4,406. 

  In Volinia Township, voters approved a proposal, 149 to 96, for Fire and Ambulance Services, while those in Silver Creek Township gave a thumbs-up to an Emergenc Services Special Assessment District, 450-213.

    The operating millage for Edwardsburg Public Schools easily won, 1,356 to 962. Cass County voters in the Niles Community Schools district also approved an operating millage renewal request, 572 to 472. Overall, the Niles Schools proposal passed 1,571 to 764.
