Band Notes – April 18
April 22 – All voucher orders for the Dussel’s Farm Market fundraiser and money are due on this date.
April 23 – Middle School Solo and Ensemble at SMC.
April 28 – Jazz Festival, 10am, Hastings, MI. We will be performing at the Spray Park BandShell on the corner of Church and State Street. Student itineraries will be made available soon.
April 29 – Vouchers for Dussel’s Farm Market will be distributed to students who participated in the fundraiser.
May 25 – Spring Band Concert, 7pm. This concert is a requirement for all band students grades 6-12.
Spring Fundraiser – Dussel’s Farm Market Vouchers
The Spring band fundraiser has begun! We are selling Dussel’s Farm Market vouchers for $15.00. All band students grades 6-12 will be selling vouchers. Profits from the sale will help the 2025 Band Trip as well as the general Band Booster fund. Vouchers are good from May 5th to June 19th and can be used for annuals, perennials, vegetable plants, flats or flower baskets. They are NOT valid for cash back, any grocery or in-store items.
6th Grade Band
The 6th grade band will be using practice cards for the fourth marking period. Practice cards are assigned every Monday and are due the following Monday. Students have one week to complete the 60 minute practice requirement. Practice time must take place outside of the class period. Students must have their practice cards signed by an adult who has supervised their practice time. These practice assignments make up 30% of the marking period grade.
