Marching Band 2026
The 2026 “Wildcat” Marching Band Season will officially begin August 10 with Marching Band Camp.  A detailed letter and complete marching band schedule were mailed to students last week.  If students didn’t pick up their show music the last week of school, that was also mailed to your homes.  Please mark your calendars for Band Camp right away.  Camp will be held on the high school campus from August 10-14, Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm and Friday 8am-2pm.

Freshman Marching Band Basics
On Friday, July 31, Miss Essex is hosting a Freshman marching band clinic from 8am-Noon.  While this particular session is not mandatory, it is HIGHLY encouraged that you attend.  Incoming 9th grade students will be given an overview or marching fundamentals and drill reading before the official start of camp.  This clinic is designed to help the freshmen feel more comfortable with marching and get a head start on how to read marching band drills.  If you have questions or concerns, or can’t make the clinic, please make sure you contact Miss Essex right away.
