Website Updates: We will be using YouTube and uploading to the website for updates as well as we have a photo gallery available to see pictures for Frolic events.
First Fridays: July 17th, August 7th, September 4th and October 2nd (Okterberfest) we will have Beer, Wine, Jello Shots, Pop and Water at the remaining First Fridays. Fundraising: June 20th- Car Show- $401 Profit, July 11th- Brynn Cummings Show- $718.75 Profit. Thank You everyone that participated in the Car Show and Enjoyed the Brynn Show. Thank You Jo, Jaclyn, Billy, Cindy, Diane, Mark, and Chelsea for helping out at these events.
New Business Discussed:
PR/Marketing: We are continuing to share the flyers and make people aware of the website. If anyone needs a poster flyer please let us know.
MVP: Meeting was July 2nd- Discussed the success of the Brynn Show as well as the upcoming July 17th Event. The next meeting is August 6th at 6:30pm at Regina’s. MVP now has a banner sharing their Mission, Vision and Value.
DDA: July 14th-Discussed the July 17th Celebration of America turning 250 downtown Marcellus.
Village Council: July 14th- Updated how the Brynn Show went and July 17th Event.
Next Meetings: Village Council 7/28 at 7:00 p.m., DDA 8/13 at 6:00p.m. The public is welcome to attend both.
Rides: Still working on getting a Bounce house Todd has spoken to a Gentlemen by the name of Justin located in a Kalamazoo Army recruiting center. They are available but do not offer a bounce house, in lieu of a
Bounce House they provide a Football Tunnel for the kids to run through as well as a large Connect Four Game.

Remaining balances ($5,400) owed for bands to be paid the night of their show: Friday: Jeremy Hartman-$200.00 and Sierra Shame-$2,200.00= $2400
Saturday: Spork Fight- $400.00, The Bronk Bros. $1,800.00 and Rebel Price- $800.00= $3000
Imperial Beverage: Budgeted for $1500 (about $900 last year) to be paid Saturday Night August 15th.

Moving The Frolic: It has been brought up to move the Frolic back to June where it all started. One: better time for fishing, Two: Cooler temperatures.
To allow us better opportunity for Fundraising we are looking at:
2027 – Downtown Marcellus possibly the 3rd weekend in July.
2028 – Downtown Marcellus possibly the 2nd weekend of June (week prior to WaterFest in Three Rivers)
Public Comments:
It was discussed by all present the idea of fundraising with Bigby Coffee, Little Caesars, Red Robin, Mc Donald’s, etc.
Amy’s Fabulous Diner and Sun and Soul are doing a round up option.
We also talked about the Parade: Theme: Celebrating America’s 250th
Billy: Contacting the American Legion in Three Rivers Jo: Contacting Jeep Clubs
Chelsea: Contacting Church Groups and Campgrounds Diane: Contacting 4H and State Troopers
Todd: Contact M40 Speedway
Looking for Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Classic Car Groups, Kids and Adults that would like to decorate (bikes, scooters, golf carts, ATV’s), Clowns, Dance Clubs, Baton Twirlers.
