Meeting Called to Order: 6:05 PM
Members Present:
Todd Snider, Chelsea Profitt, Billiejo Snider, Tommy Puleo, Cindy Wilson, and Dianne Mierzejewski. Also Present: Blake Terrill (Marcellus DDA).

Jaclyn Lyles, Amber Meyer
Treasurer’s Update:
No formal report this meeting. Estimated account balance is approximately $700.
Budget Goal:
Committee is targeting a total budget of $25,000–$30,000 for the 2026 event.
Old Business
– Todd, Chelsea, and Jaclyn have been added to the bank account. Online banking use will be expanded, and checkbook carbon copies will be used to review past expenses.
– The committee agreed to retain the existing Non-Profit LLC and will work to bring it back into good standing for lower-cost liquor licensing.
– Todd is coordinating the transition of prior year records and materials.
– Storage options are being explored, including a shared storage arrangement with other local organizations and possible continued village storage.
– Discussions with the VFW regarding a car show/fundraising event during the festival will continue, with an update expected at the December meeting.
– The committee discussed a potential name change. If changed, the leading option is ‘Marcellus Spring/Summer Fling.’ Final decision pending.
– The third weekend in June is being considered for the 2026 festival to avoid weather challenges.
– Blake Terrill discussed potential collaboration with the DDA, including becoming a sub-committee to expand funding and volunteer support. Legal counsel review is required before proceeding.
New Business
– Welcome to new members Cindy Wilson and Dianne Mierzejewski.
– Patch & Remington confirmed as the meeting location for Thursday meetings. A $20 donation per meeting is suggested. The committee will vote on how to fund this expense.
– For Christmas in the Village on December 6, the committee will again sell hot cocoa and baked goods. Volunteers should contact Todd.
– A new community volunteer group led by Mike and Alisa Burleigh is forming to support positive initiatives in Marcellus. Contact Todd for meeting details.

Additional Notes
– Committee would like to include more educational activities such as DNR mobile fish tank and animal education programs.
– If festival moves to June, sponsorship letters should be prepared by end of year.
– Some businesses may prefer to donate before year-end due to fiscal year budgets.
