Absent: Chelsea, Mary, Anne, Brian, Jessica, Cary, Josh and Amberly
Treasury Report:
As of 6/18 /24 our current checking account balance is $5,677.78. Michelle met with Patricia Middleton-Badner with Acrisure Great Lakes insurance company out of Cass and was able to get us a quote for our General & Liquor Liability insurance for this year’s BGF event. Patricia quoted us at $1,497.00 for both days.
According to Amy and the remaining outstanding vendor items, we still need raise $5,041.52 before beer cost, port a potties and security.
Old Business:
Amy contacted Kyle Batts with the company that is handling the construction in town to see if they would be willing to roll the football field for us since it is very uneven due to all the mole holes throughout the field.
Kyle mentioned he would see what he could do. Todd mentioned he thought they had already done it since he saw some activity down there the other day. There was also talk of them filling in the holes for us in the parking lot as well before they moved all their stuff from the parking lot.
We will also be thanking the construction company publicly to make sure they know how appreciative we are of their help with the football field.
To help save cost, Todd offered to pursue the Velcro letters for banner (old big one for the road) so we can reuse the banner each year by switching out the names of our sponsors.
Cary reached out to Amy and let us know her current count for vendors. Currently, we have 16 craft vendors and 9 food vendors (5 paid & 4 unpaid) signed up for this year’s event. We were not given a breakdown of who has paid so far for the craft vendors.
Chelsea was not able to make it to this month’s meeting, so we were unable to get any more details on the Mark’s Reptiles deal or find out the final cost from Richmond Sanitary. Hope to have the final details by our next meeting.
Several of us called around to see if any local golf courses would be interested in sponsoring a golf outing to raise money for the BGF but we were unable to get any takers this late in the year. No go! on anyone to do golf outings.
No word from Rainbow farms on sound equipment yet.
New Business:
Yard signs are done.
Reusing last year’s stage banner & having numbers and few names changed.
