Let’s Play Mahjong

Tuesdays: 1:00 – 3:00 pm

Fridays: 10:00 am

Join other 3-6 year olds every Friday at 10:00 am for free play time to inspire growth and learning, while increasing social skills, fine motor skills and early STEM skills.

Tie-Dye Fun

July 5 – 1:00 pm

Join us at the Main Branch for an afternoon of tie-dye fun! Bring your own shirt or item that you would like to customize with rubber bands, dye and twisting techniques.

DIY Giant Bubble Wands

Howard Branch

July 6 – 1:00 pm

Make your own giant bubble wand to create humongous bubbles! Participants will make their own bubble wand and try them outdoors at the library. The bubble solution recipe will be provided so you can continue the fun at home.

“I Survived” STEAM Camp: Tsunami

Anime Drawing Workshop with Local Author John Thompson

The Edwardsburg Branch is proud to present an Anime Drawing Workshop with local author John Thompson. His book, The Comely Widow: The Crimes of Serial Killer Belle Gunness is a true crime graphic narrative. Join us for a fun filled workshop and learn the art of anime drawing. Recommended for ages 10 and older.

Naturalists will introduce a variety of owls, both live and taxidermied, and discuss their special adaptations at the Main Branch.

More Than a Book Club

Meet Eleanor Oliphant: she struggles with appropriate social skills. She will learn the only way to survive is to open her heart. Join us at Maple Cafe for the discussion of Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman. Stop by any location to reserve a copy before the discussion.
