The Village of Vandalia hosts the 2025 Underground Railroad Days, Saturday and Sunday, July 12 and 13.
The event co-sponsored by the Underground Railroad Society of Cass County (URSCC) features guided tours of Kentucky Raid Sites in Milo Barnes Park, a Civil War encampment of the 102nd U.S. Colored Troops, displays, presentations, arts/crafts, and food.
Underground Railroad sites open during the weekend include the Bonine House at the intersection of Penn Road and M-60, the Bonine Carriage House across the road from the Bonine House, Bogue House, 20283 M-60, and Brownsville School #1, 20559 Osborn Street.
