The Marcellus Community Schools community enjoyed several celebratory and joyous year-end events last week. Â
On May 31, a special event recognizing the accomplishments of Outstanding Career and Technical Education (CTE) students was held at Magnolia Farms. Pictured with their parents are award recipients Dawson Knipp, Jenna Wells, Olivia Thompson and Hunter Hurley. These hardworking and accomplished students were selected by their respective CTE instructors to be honored at this banquet.
Third grade Swim Camp also took place last week. The kids learned important life-saving swim skills and had a lot of fun in the process! Many thanks to the Niles- Buchanan YMCA for providing swim instructors and lifeguards. The district is grateful to Joyce Tone, Mindy Bohan and Debbie and Paul Paolasso for allowing the use of their pools and/or lake front.
