SongFarmers of Van Buren County will host a gathering of musicians and listeners on Sunday, June 18, 2023. The event will be held at Porter Township Hall, 88040 M-40, Lawton, MI. This event is Free! Subsequent events will be held the 3rd Sunday of each month.
A SongFarmer is any musician who uses music to make their lives, families, and hometowns better…you could be a SongFarmer!
SongFarmers is an International Non-profit Organization that promotes the restoration of “front porch” music gatherings in small towns and communities. These gatherings are encouraging the enjoyment of traditional music with acoustic instruments and voices, keeping the rich oral tradition of sharing tunes alive and thriving. This is a family friendly event, encouraging all skill levels of musicians and welcomes listeners!
So, dust off your guitars, mandolins, banjos, fiddles, dulcimers, accordions or any other acoustic instrument; tune up your singing voice and plan to join us June 18, 2023, at Porter Township Hall, 88040 M-40, Lawton, MI, 1pm-4pm.
