SOUTH HAVEN – The Michigan Flywheelers Museum will be holding a consignment auction on Sunday, Sept. 10 during its Antique Engine and Tractor Show.
The auction, which starts at 9:30 a.m., is a fundraiser for the museum. Proceeds will be used for operational expenses and development of exhibits.
The museum is looking for farm-related items for the auction. They can either be sold on consignment or donated to the museum. Consignment fee is 18 percent. No household items will be accepted.Â
The antique engine and tractor show, which runs Thursday, Sept. 7 through Sunday, Sept. 10, is one of several events hosted by the museum. This is the 40th year for the show.Â
A non-profit organization that is dedicated to the preservation of antique farm machinery and its history, the Michigan Flywheelers Museum is located on 68th street in Geneva Township.
Persons attending the auction on Sunday will have to pay admission to the show. Cost is $5. Children 12 and under are free. Admission includes all show activities such as parades, demonstrations, flea market and exhibits.
