REGULAR MEETING 

TUESDAY FEBRUARY 15, 2022

Supervisor Koshar called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M.  and led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Roll call vote:  Hutson, Koshar, Mroz, Schick.  Absent:  Hess.

Moved by Koshar, supported by Schick, to approve the agenda as amended.  All ayes, motion carried.

Moved by Schick, supported by Koshar, to approve as presented and place on file the minutes of the January 18, 2022 Regular Meeting.  All ayes, motion carried.

Moved by Koshar, supported by Schick, to add the Lamoreaux Construction invoice for replacement of an entrance door to the list of bills to be approved.  Roll call vote.  Ayes:  Hutson, Koshar, Mroz, Schick.  Nays:  None.  Motion carried.

Moved by Schick, supported by Mroz, to approve payment of bills as amended.  Roll call vote.  Ayes:  Hutson, Koshar, Mroz, Schick.  Nays:  None.  Motion carried.

Moved by Koshar, supported by Schick, to approve the Treasurers’ Report.  All ayes, motion carried.

PUBLIC COMMENTS   installation of LP tank.

REPORTS

1. Under Sheriff Roach reported on activities in the township.

2. Cemetery Sexton Kruger reported no activity for the month of January.

3. MAESA – Schick reported that the department wants to have an ordinance that allows them to bill for extra runs.

4. CC Commissioner File asked about the Solar Ordinance and asked the board to work with the County on the Master Plan.

5. Supervisor Koshar presented resolution for the Board of Reviews to be approved, suggested that the rent to the Police Millage be increased and bill on a monthly basis and part of the year be billed to the Marihuana License and Permit Account, presented the 20-21 audit, and information on the ability of the township to become a charter township.  Letter from resident requesting permission to sell guns from his home.

Moved by Koshar, supported by Mroz, that the Resolution for the BOR to set an alternate date for the December 2022 and Resolution for the BOR to set an alternate date for the July 2022 BOR be approved.  The Resolution to adopt the guidelines for poverty income guild lines and asset level test.  All ayes, motion carried.

Moved by Koshar, supported by Schick, that the rent from the Police Millage be increased to $2000 per month and the be changed to a monthly billing and that the Marihuana Permits and License be invoiced for some of the monthy billings.  Roll call vote.  Ayes:  Hutson Koshar, Mroz, Schick.  Nays:  None.  Motion carried.

Moved by Schick, supported by Mroz, to approve the 20-21 Audit prepared by Seber, Tans, and PLC and be placed on file.  All ayes, motion carried.

Moved by Schick, supported by Koshar, to approve the letter requesting approval home gun sales.  All ayes, motion carried.

PUBLIC COMMENTS Building Inspector and zoning official McGrew reported on permits issued.

Moved by Koshar, supported by Schick, to adjourn the meeting.  All ayes, motion carried.
