BENTON HARBOR, Mich.- If you’re looking for a job, you’ll want to join Michigan Works! at their next hiring event where an estimated 25 employers will be meeting with candidates to fill their open positions.
The next hiring event will take place on Wednesday, February 28 from 10:00 am- 2:00 pm at the Michigan Works! Service Center, located at 499 West Main Street in Benton Harbor.
“Our hiring events have been a major success for southwest Michigan employers and job seekers. Throughout 2023, we hosted four hiring events, bringing over 558 job seekers through our doors to meet with over 75 employers,” said Mark O’Reilly, Director of Business Solutions at Michigan Works! Berrien, Cass, Van Buren. “While we know it is a slower season for some industries, others are ramping up and are ready to fill their open positions and I’m confident our hiring events in 2024 will continue to be successful.”
In addition to hosting employers in various industries, the job fair will also host resource providers to help job seekers with education, training, and support services.
Individuals who would like to participate should arrive at the job fair interview ready with an updated resume. Jobseekers are encouraged to pre-register their attendance here.
