One Shot in Marcellus During Domestic Altercation

Cass County Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports that on 01/20/2024 at 1930 hours, his office was called to investigate a shooting that occurred at a residence in the 200 block of E North St., Village of Marcellus, County of Cass, Michigan. 

  Investigation showed that two male roommates were having a verbal argument when the argument turned physical. One roommate, a 23-year-old male pulled a handgun and shot the other roommate multiple times. Brandon James Clark, 24-year-old, Marcellus Michigan resident, was transported to Bronson Trauma for his injuries.

  The 23-year-old male was arrested and lodged at the Cass County Jail. The suspect’s name is being withheld pending arraignment in the 4th District Court.  

This investigation is ongoing at this time. Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to call the Cass County Sheriff’s Office. 

   Assisting agencies included Marcellus Ambulance and Marcellus Fire Department.
