Regular Meeting
April 13, 2022
Supervisor Oxley called the regular meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Members present – Oxley, Meade, Nesbitt, Bitely, Packer. Also present – Attorney Schuitmaker and eight guests.
Motion by Bitely with support by Packer to approve the minutes of the meeting on March 9, 2022. Voice vote – all yes. Motion passed.
Motion by Meade with support by Packer to approve the Treasurer’s report subject to audit. Voice vote – all yes. Motion passed.
Motion by Nesbitt with support by Packer to approve the bills as presented. Roll call vote – all yes. Motion passed.
Motion by Bitely with support by Nesbitt to approve the Short Term Rental Application as submitted by Attorney Schuitmaker. Voice vote – all yes. Motion passed.
Motion by Bitely with support by Packer to put Senior Services Millage on the ballot in 2022, using proposed wording provided by Attorney Schuitmaker. Roll Call vote – Oxley, Nesbitt, Packer, Bitely – yes. Meade – no. Motion passed.
The Budget Workshop will be held Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. prior to the regular meeting.
Motion made by Meade with support from Packer to increase Planning Commission Chairperson and Secretary wage from $100 to $150 per meeting. Roll Call vote – all yes. Motion passed.
Motion by Bitely with support by Packer to adjourn the regular meeting at 8:40 p.m. Voice vote – all yes. Motion passed.
