Regular Meeting – October 11, 2023
Supervisor Oxley called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Members present – Oxley, Bitely, and Nesbitt. Also present – Attorney Schuitmaker and eight guests.
Motion by Bitely with support by Nesbitt to approve the minutes of the regular meeting on September 13, 2023. Voice vote – all yes. Motion passed.
Motion by Bitely with support by Nesbitt to approve the Treasurer’s report subject to audit. Voice vote – all yes. Motion passed.
Motion by Bitely with support by Nesbitt to approve the bills as presented. Roll call vote – all yes. Motion passed.
Motion by Bitely with support by Nesbitt to amend roll and levy the special assessment to maintain Lake Drive – Huzzy Lake. Roll call vote – all yes. Motion passed.
Motion by Nesbitt with support by Bitely to amend the General Fund Budget for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024 in summary form. Total revenue of $895,150 less total expenditures of $1,336,790 for a net loss in 23/24 of $441,640. Roll call vote – all yes. Motion passed.
Motion by Bitely with support by Nesbitt to approve an out-of-cycle payment to Solitude Lake Management for Huzzy Lake Weed control in the amount of $2688.50. Roll call vote – all yes. Motion passed.
Motion by Bitely with support by Nesbitt to adjourn the meeting at 7:36 pm. Voice vote – all yes. Motion passed.
