The Cass County Board of Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing pursuant to Act 43 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1963 on the proposed Cass County Budget for fiscal year 2026/2027 at 5:00 PM on Thursday, September 3, 2026, in the Commissioner Chambers of the Cass County Administration Building, 120 N. Broadway Street, Cassopolis, MI 49031. A copy of the proposed budget is available for inspection in the Administrator’s Office and the Clerk-Register’s Office at the above address. Persons wishing to comment may do so at this meeting and/or may send written comments to the Board at the above address. The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.
