NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TAKE NOTICE that the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy, (EGLE) Water Resources Division (WRD) will hold an online public hearing on September 17, 2026. 

The purpose of this hearing is to secure the views of interested persons concerning the following application for permit: 

Application for, 14-59640 County Line Road-Three Rivers (submittal number HQM-6NRZ-YS415) under Part 301, Inland Lakes and Streams, of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, 1994 PA 451, as amended, by applicant name Corey Lake Holdings.  The applicant proposes to construct and operate a marina consisting of two floating piers each 6 feet wide, 170 feet long, offering 24 boat slips each, for a total of 48 boat slips.

If you do not have internet access and would like to join by PHONE ONLY please use the following phone number: 855-758-1310 and use meeting ID 863 5541 4059#. Pre-registration is not required to attend the meeting. Individuals interested in participating can click the link above at the start of the event (6:00 p.m.).

The application is available for review at the MDEQ Web site:
https://mienviro.michigan.gov/ncore/external/publicnotice/search.  The public hearing record will remain open for ten days after the public hearing date.  Any written comments should to be submitted for the public hearing record in.

To submit comments, access The Public Notice search in  at: https://mienviro.michigan.gov/ncore/external/publicnotice/search. You do not need an account to add a comment to the Public Hearing comments. Use the search tool on the Public Hearing Search to find the public hearing announcement. It is most easily searched using the submission number.  Once you find the submission using the search engine at the above link, you can review related documents to the application and click the “Add Comment” tab to enter your comment.  You will have the option to either type your comment or upload it as an attachment.

The hearing will be held pursuant to Section 324.30105 of Part 301, Inland Lakes and Streams, of the NREPA.  The hearing will not be a legal proceeding, witnesses will not be sworn, and there will be no cross examination. Public hearings are primarily informational and are held to encourage the expression of views and presentation of facts. 

A copy of the decision on this application can be reviewed by using Site Explorer, once a decision has been made.
