The 2023 Southwest Michigan Horticultural Days will be held Wednesday and Thursday, February 1 and 2, 2023 at Lake Michigan College’s Mendel Center in Benton Harbor, Michigan. It is hosted by the Michigan Grape Society and Michigan State University Extension.
Two days of educational sessions will cover important topics like farm sustainability, soil management, pest and disease management, farm insurance needs, and annual crop rotation options. New this year is a full day dedicated to marketing and finance; track on day two to discuss maximizing sales and profit potentials using digital relationship marketing.
Registration and the trade show begin at 8 a.m. and the educational sessions start at 9 a.m. both days. A wine showcase free for all attendees will be held Wednesday afternoon. On-site registration is $ 75.00 per person for the full event; $ 60.00 per person if you pre-register. This year, a $ 15.00 discount is available for those interested in attending only day 2 for the new marketing and finance sessions. Lunch is included in the registration fee.

MSU Extension educators, commercial growers and outside experts will provide informative talks and answer questions in educational sessions. RUP credits will be included for many of the sessions.
