Varsity

State qualifiers of the Marcellus Varsity team competed at the state competition on February 26 at Lake Orion High School. All lifters placed and received a personal record on some of their lifts. The team overall placed 16th out of 54 schools.

Emma Holmes placed 4th in the state in the 145 pound weight class

Maddie Smith placed 4th in the state in the 97 pound weight class

Aurora Carney placed 11th in the state in the 181 pound weight class

Junior Varsity

State qualifiers of the Marcellus JV team competed at the state competition on March 5 at Henry Ford High School. These lifters also placed and received a personal record on some of their lifts.

Mackenzie Schuur placed 11th in the state in the 155 pound weight class

Mindy Boyer placed 18th in the 145 pound weight class

Brock Buck placed 9th in the state in the 

Nathan Mihills placed 14th in the state in the 194 pound weight class

Cole Thornburgh placed 13th in the state in the 194 pound weight class
