Brunch is about more than eating — it’s about being together in a beautiful, intentional space.
Marcellus, MI — Patch & Remington will host a one-of-a-kind pre-Valentine’s Day brunch experience on Sunday, February 8, blending contemporary visual art, elevated food, and handcrafted cocktails into a single immersive event. The ticketed brunch, part of The Artful Table Series, invites guests to enjoy a three-course, cocktail-paired experience inspired by the artwork of Hava Gurevich, a nationally exhibited visual artist.

The brunch is designed as a fully integrated experience where food and drink respond directly to the visual art on display. This year’s featured exhibition, Organic Fiction, presents a series of bold, abstract paintings by Gurevich that explore imagined ecosystems, speculative biology, and hybrid life forms inspired by coral reefs, fungi, microscopic organisms, and the natural world.
Gurevich holds a BFA in Photography from the University of Michigan and an MFA in Painting from Illinois State University. Her work has been exhibited in museums and galleries across the United States and collected internationally. Her work blends drawing, painting, photography, collage, and digital media to create worlds that feel both alien and familiar.
Food and drink for the event will be prepared by Chef Amy and Jacob of LFG (Liquor, Food, Gaming) in Kalamazoo. Known for their scratch-made food and inventive cocktail dinners, the duo will create a curated three-course brunch menu designed to pair with the colors, textures, and themes of Gurevich’s artwork.
Patch & Remington, a creative gathering space in Marcellus, was founded to bring together art, food, and community in a warm, welcoming setting. Many ingredients used in the brunch will be sourced through Carlson Farms, owned by Karen and Norm Carlson.
Guests are encouraged to come with friends, family, or a significant other and enjoy the full experience. Because of the curated, plated nature of the menu, the event may not be suitable for guests with food allergies or dietary restrictions.
