While the business community in Marcellus continues to be challenged by the lack of open sidewalks, the United Methodist Church, 197 W. Main, provided ample, accessible space for local shopping during Christmas in the Village, December 6.
Thanks to Cherie Jackson, the church’s fellowship hall was full of local vendors offering unique items to shoppers of all ages. An added plus for shoppers was a variety of donated cookies to enjoy while perusing the tables ladened with local goods.
The United Methodist Church’s Fellowship Hall is truly open to the public as a community gathering venue. It is also the site where the Cass Family Mobile Clinic makes its headquarters twice each month. The Mobile Clinic will be in Marcellus the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
