Notice is hereby given that a State Primary Election will be held in Volinia Township on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. The polls will be open from 7:00am to 8:00pm.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE of the following proposals on the ballot:
STATE – PROPOSAL 22-1: A proposal to amend the state constitution to require annual public financial disclosure reports by legislators and other state officers and change state legislator term limit to 12 total years in legislator.
STATE – PROPOSAL 22-2: A proposal to amend the state constitution to add provisions regarding elections.
STATE – PROPOSAL 22-3: A proposal to amend the state constitution to establish new individual right to reproductive freedom, including right to make all decisions about pregnancy and abortion; allow state to regulate abortion in some cases; and forbid prosecution of individuals exercising established right.

Absentee ballots are available for all elections; registered voters may contact the local clerk to obtain an application for an absent voter ballot.
To comply with the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), voting instructions will be available int audio format and in Braille. Arrangements for obtaining the instructions in these alternate formats can be made by contacting the township clerk in advance of the election. All polling locations are accessible for voters with disabilities.

NOTICE OF ELECTION NEWBER TOWNSHIP, CASS COUNTY, MICHIGAN
November 8, 2022
To the qualified electors of Newberg Township:
Notice is hereby given that a General Election will be held in Newberg Township on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. The polls will be open from 7:00am to 8:00pm at NEWBERG TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPARTMENT located at 11900 McKinley St. Jones, Mi. 49061.
Offices of Governor, Federal, State, Local and School districts will be on the ballot.
Proposals on the ballot:
A joint resolution proposing an amendment to the state constitution of 1963 to require certain disclosures and to modify limitations on terms of office of state legislators.
A proposal to amend the state constitution to add provision regarding voting.
A proposal to amend Article 1 to add section 28.
